Colby Goes Skiing
Colby had a successful visit to King Pine today. After his first little try at skiing at home we did not expect him to last long, but he surprised us. After seeing lots of other little kids riding the magic carpet he was ready to go. He got his skis on, and rode up the magic carper several times and skied down with Mom or Dad. After several such trips he let us know he wanted to go up the big chair lift. So we took a ride up, figuring he would enjoy the ride at least - which was about right as he was not very interested in skiing down. He was quite interested in the cookies they had in the snack bar, and had some nice visiting with Gma & Gpa Ted.

Colby had a fine start to his ski journey with his Ma & Dad on the slopes. Of Course, this was rounded off with a giant KP cookie. He toured the Lodge with G-Ma, the highlight being the ramp running by the Ice House, 7 times! A stop at the Ice House has Colby some KP souvenirs. He made a friend in the tavern, a young lady, they rolled their ping pong balls around til Cobo got pooped out.
