COBO

I asked Colby to show me his guns, but that got no response. As seen in this photo, he did respond when I asked him to show me his belly though!

Somewhere along the way Colby has taken to calling himself "Cobo". Many of his words get abbreviated to one long syllable, presumably because its easier. Also, there are sounds he has a hard time saying, such as "if" and "eff" and many "r" sounds (these tend to be omitted, making it interesting when he says "shift" as he does when we play car).


Still, Cobo is a strange version for him to settle on. Maybe the "L" sound is hard and he chooses to skip that.... but he definitely can say the "EE" part and the end and he says "Daddy" 100 times a day (which is very cool every time). Cobo seems like an amalgamation of his first and last names, the sort of nicknames adolescents or adults give each other. Or a Rambo or Cujo type movie title. Its none of those - right now its just our little Colby.
