Watermelon

Colby REALLY likes watermelon. He's fond of food in general, but I think watermelon is his favorite. It hits all his favorite food qualities - its sweet, its big, and its messy! He's getting bigger and bigger food to eat - I gave him an entire banana recently and he ate almost the whole thing. We still chop up most of his food into non-choke-able chunks, but he shows pretty good judgement about what he can handle and we're always watching him.

These days he likes to move a lot too. He's learned to walk much better and just recently ducked under something for the first time. Until then he didn't seem to understand that was an option. He's more stable walking and running, but still falls down often which is why the beach is a nice option. Just in the past few days he's figured out how to make his sit-on cars and trucks move. Mostly backward (like his crawling started off) but he's begun to use forward already.

He's getting big very quickly.
