Now that Colby has learned that he can crawl forward he is quickly improving his crawling skills. The addition of a forward gear has vastly improved his mobility. Previously he would get stuck in a corner somewhere and simply be stuck. Now he can advance out of most any jam and he does. A lot. The past two mornings I have followed Colby around his first floor travels and have been educated on all the ways our house is not baby-proofed. Cords I never noticed, chairs that seemed stable, magazines that seemed innocent, and many other things that just need to be different. Our week off has turned into a baby-proofing marathon.
