The balloons Colby got for being born stayed at the top of our cathedral ceiling for a long time. As they came down Chewy would eat the ribbon and, having their load lightened, they would go back up to the ceiling. Then they had a weird, neutral-gravity stage where they would hover about 5 feet off the ground. One repeatedly found its way to the 3rd floor.
14+ weeks later they are all upright, but only just. Thank you all that gave us these balloons and other kind gifts. We are still working on the thank you notes - we haven't forgotten you!
