Polar Express

Despite more than a foot of new snow, we trekked to Lincoln NH this afternoon to ride the Polar Express to the North Pole. We enjoyed hot chocolate and special candy while we rode the train. When we got off we saw lots of big Elves, Santa's workshop, and a reading of the Polar Express book. Afterward, Santa himself came out to say hi, shook Colby's hand and told everyone there they had made the "good" list this year. On our way back on the train we all enjoyed receiving the first gifts of Christmas - silver bells from Santa's sleigh!
