Memphis Wedding

We travelled to Memphis last weekend to Shea and George's wedding. It is hard work travelling with a toddler, but his Mom was well prepared and worked hard to make it happen. It was great to have Colby meet his Great Grandpa O, get a Grandpa O visit in and rock his job as a ring bearer!

We started our trip by flying to Saint Louis and seeing a ball game.

Colby was not that impressed.

Our hotel was immediately adjacent to the Arch.

Colby running through Saint Louis in his pajamas. No Instagram here - that's what it looked like as we tried to tire him out so he would sleep on the drive to Memphis (that did NOT work out).

Another city, another tire Colby out so he'll nap session. This time it was at Mud Island in Memphis, were Colby stomped through the massive relief map of the Mississippi (this worked out better).

The lobby at the Peabody for lunch.

Colby is attacking the chocolate duck at lunch with Great Grandpa O, Uncle Dan, Devin, and Sarah.

The flower did not last long.

The wedding photographer had to work hard with Colby - the "stomp on this leaf while your truck is on my head" trick seemed to help.

Momma and C take a rest after the sun subsides.

This was the moment after he had walked down the aisle as a ring bearer, at which point he did not know what to do. After several seconds he found Moira, lit up and ran to her!

Colby fired up after pictures and really enjoyed the dance floor!

"Yeah! Rock and Roll Baby!"
