First Red Sox Game

We had a day out in Boston, including Colby's first Red Sox game. We were supposed to take the train, but apparently it sells out so we drove. Started at the Museum of Science where Colby showed passing interest in a lot of things. I think he probably liked the bird's nest and vacuum tube (like you use at a bank drive through) the most. Then we walked to Boston Common, did a fake horse ride (what are those called?) and didn't have enough cash for the Swan Boats. Then we tried to fill the missing train quota by taking the subway to Kenmore... and Colby was not impressed. We thought he'd like at as another sort of truck and mode of transport, but they were oddly loud and he may be scarred for life. It was also time for his nap, so it probably just compounded his weariness. He perked up at Fenway a bit, and acknowledged the venue and enjoyed our short stay there. However - we did find the bricks that Colby's and cousin Zach's names were on. How many people can say that! We then walked back to the Museum of Science along the parks on Commonwealth and back through the Boston Gardens where he was quite impressed with all the flowers. Then he ate and drank all the way home, dropped the kids off in the tub (oops!) and quickly fell asleep!
